When I was a smoker, I'd always say, I know I can be quit; I just don't want to go through the process of quitting. The reason is that I had done it before. I had quit once for three years. It was not hard to be quit. In fact, I felt pretty good being quit. It was just that I felt so bad getting there.
It is kind of like having a thorn in your foot when you are a kid. The thorn hurts pretty bad, and your mom wants to pull it out, but you keep telling her "no no no," because you know how much more it is going to hurt pulling it out.
I feel pretty good now that it has been almost nine months. I am now quit; I am no longer going through the process of quitting. |

Nice analogy.
Congrats on 9 months. _________________
