Hi my name is Amy and I am an idiot. I made it three weeks without smoking. I was doing great. I felt great. And I had gotten through the all the cravings. Then my mom who quit with me. Started up again. And well the rest is history. I had one, and then a few days later I had 3 and today I have smoked 4. I can't believe how stupid I am. Now I have to go through all the crap all over again. I hate myself.
I really thought I could have a few without having any of the cravings. What is wrong with me? Of course I am craving again. Just wanted to share how stupid I am with anyone out there that is thinking that they can just smoke when they drink or I can just have a couple and it won't start the clock over. Trust me it is not worth it. I can't believe that I just through away three weeks of a great quit.
Idiot out wondering around named...Amy _________________

No fair beating up on yourself.
When you wake up tomorrow morning you'll start over (if not before).
Don't wait any longer, do it now. You'll readdict yourself completely.
I know it is hard with your mother smoking. It would be so much easier if all the people close to us would do and think just like we do.
You can do this Amy. You have already accomplished a tremendous amount. Just keep it going and keep swimming.

Just stop it right now. Resume your quit. Learn your lesson. You fell for the biggest lie. We all do. Let it go and jump back on!

no, actually, the worst thing you could've done would've been to just say "f*** it!" and keep on smoking. you didn't do that.
but you need to get one thing crystal clear: you are an addict. and as such, you're subject to the law of addiction:
http://whyquit.com/joel/Joel_04_02_law_of_addiction.html
(lots of good reading there.)
remember: it doesn't matter how many times you get knocked down; only how many times you get back up again. congratulations on getting back up.
