HELLLLP!
I have even tried trouble shooting by reading other comments. I can't get my avatar to show up. I am trying to pull an image from a file I have in photobucket. I copied the img code and tried it with and without [IMG].
hrumph.
Can anyone help me??

the problem is that the url you're using isn't pointing to an image file. you see where it says "action=view&"? that means it's pointing to a script that's going to display the image, not to the image itself. image files generally end in ".jpg", ".png", or ".gif"

look at the following tutorial on photobucket (the code they show in the 'img' tags should work, as long the image url ends in one of the extensions i mentioned above):

Kevin, thank you. I figured out one issue and resolcved that, but I still get an invalid url message and I've pulled the correct code, I think.

OK, it showed up here but not as my avatar. That is good news probably, right?
