So it's not that bad, not as bad as some other times. The big hang-up right now is that my fiancee is my quit buddy and she's caving as we speak. And that kinda sorty makes me want to cave in too. But I can't. So I will do dishes and read these boards, and work. Grr. |

you can't control what anybody else does; you can only control what you do. you're smart not to base your choice whether or not to smoke on something you can't control.
but be aware of what's going on for you around that choice: it sounds as if you're in "depriving myself and feeling sorry for myself because of it" mode. turn that around; you're making a positive choice, not depriving yourself of anything worth having.
keep it going! _________________

Engaged511....After 72 hours, the nicotine is gone which means now it's a mental game. If you continue to feed negative thoughts about not smoking, you will end up giving in. You have to be positive about this quit...that it is the best thing you have ever done...that you are no longer killing yourself, poisoning yourself....
I highly suggest you go to FFSonline and read some of the lessons. This is a great thing you are doing for yourself. Your fiancee will come around...just keep yourself healthy.
Good luck, post often, We're so proud of you!!! _________________

Hmm...sometimes when I'm jealous, I get angry...and sometimes when I'm angry....I work harder. Maybe you will inspire her to work harder.
Keep up the good choices!
