My ffsonline quit date that I decided upon was January 24, and that hasn't worked out quite so well.
I have been smoking only in the car on the way to and from work each day. Today, on my way home, I finished a pack of cigarettes. (The same pack I bought last Saturday.) I thought, "wow, my quit date is Saturday, and tomorrow is Friday....decisions...decisions...."
So, I took the lighter, and threw it out the window. The decision was easy.
My quit date is now. I will not buy another pack. Not one more. Not ever. |

Today was a great day.
I drove to work, drove home...no problems. There was a time when I thought that if I had to drive without smoking, I'd self-combust, or....well, something equally bad would surely happen.
I feel so strong, and empowered.
Thank you all for the wonderful support.
Yay Day 1!
