Looks like I may be off line for a couple of days with turning DSL off in old house (computer still there) and turning it on in the new house - but I'm finally feeling like I'm really "living" there...have a complete bedroom and a complete kitchen - and more stuff moving nearly every day! Keeping the new house "warm" - and the old house "cold"....I just need to be done moving....taken it slow and sorting as I go - I'm such a collector!! I've struggled with some of the memories - missing my mom and my brother - but reminding myself I can keep the memories and pitch the junk!!

So...don't worry if you don't see me here everday - just crunching on getting this stuff done!! And I'm trying to not use any more "vacation" days - since I have plans for those with the holidays!

slow and steady wins the race, mary - and i know just how you feel about sorting through the "junk" - although a lot of it truly is junk (i'm a pack rat, i admit it), a lot of has some kind of attachment/memory that goes with it...

No...none of the white stuff...but had to turn the heat on...it was 57degrees inside the house...set the thermostat for 65. It warmed up nicely!

There are places nearby where they are saying expect a FOOT of S**W - won't use that word in October!

well - computer is moved and internet connection is working!! Still lots to do - but I should be totally out of the old house by the end of the month! Then I can stop paying rent and my mortgage and utilities for both!

I really do love my new house - and its becoming "home"...

New washer and dryer will be delivered on Saturday - decided to replace the washer - my old one was nearly 10 years old - and the new house has an electric hookup for the dryer and my old dryer was gas. Acutally looking forward to doing laundry!
