but my state finally now has smoking restrictions in public places. It has failed passage for years so they have added exceptions for it to pass. In order to smoke in public it has to be a closed room for smokers or a private club. The places that I go to don't have that so since the 1st there has been no smoking. The smokers have been whining ever since. Businesses only sufffered for the 1st 3 days in my opinion. People who said they would not go out if they couldn't smoke are coming out anyway. I knew they would. It is so nice though.

So wait, if your at a park you can't step off the bike path and enjoy a cig? That is wrong. The government is getting way too controlling!

Do you remember back in the 60's when a 17 year old boy stole his daddy's bottle of whiskey and he'd share with his friends and if his folks found out the next day they didn't call a psychitrist, they didn't tell him to get help for his problems, no, what they dad was send em out to work in the fields all day while he was hungover. And it took 1 hour for that boy to learn to drink responsibly or face the consequences.

Now a days a parent would goto jail for child cruelty or something.
