I'm sure that there are some folks out there looking at this board and wondering....can I do it? Well, I'm here to say, "yes, you can do it." I was a 35 year, 2 pack a day girl, and with the help of my friends here on woofmang and Freedom From smoking, I was able to stop smoking almost 6 years ago.
It is by far the hardest, but the best thing I have ever done in my life. I don't return to this site very much, now that I rarely if never even think about smoking, but my quit buddies, and especially Kevin, are all still here.
If you are working your way to quitting, please know that no matter how hard core a smoker you are, you CAN do this.

well said Pamela - it comes down to making a choice - choosing to be free - over and over and over again! I totally agree - very do-able.... _________________

Pam,
I too am very seldom here any more. Issues with the broswer for one. Am a site greeter over at AllPoetry And just life issues as well. Nope hasn't gottan any easier but hey I have done it without the crutch of a cigarette.
I was a 30 year smoker and like with Pam I have been quit almost 6 years and like Pam I was a 2 pack a day smoker.
Thank you to Freedom from smoking at American Lung Association and this site here Woofmang and my family here. Yep FAMILY
You can do it folks. It is a New Year start it off right and throw those death sticks away. _________________

Pam, it's good to see you. I followed a lot of you all with a 5 year quit so a good part of you guys had some experience to pass onto me. It can be done, Amen to that! _________________
