When I signed up for Verizon Vios phone and internet I was offerred a really low price for a contract of up to year. I had originally wanted a Medicaid phone that would only cost me a total of $15 a month. Verizon not wanted for me to get the dirt cheapeast Mediciad phone kept offering me deals. I kept saying I could not affored any deal until they made it so cheap I signed up for it. What I didn't realize is that there are hidden fees like for technical support and I got that free with Comcast. I may very well end up paying more because another added extra fee I'll be paying is wire maintenance. Fee to be connected and such. _________________

My husband swears by his TracPhone. No plan at all. You just buy the phone (Walmart, etc) and then buy the minutes as you need them.

that's what we have, too (although ours is net10); i bought the phone for $30 at sam's and got 300 minutes (so either the phone or the minutes were free), and additional minutes are 10 cents anytime anywhere. _________________

I'm learning all obout how to cut costs as having to live on less money. I may have to work 3 days a week instead of three to make ends meet. _________________
