What are you all spending your money on now that you don't smoke? I'll go 1st.

I bought myself a SLR camera, a HDTV, clothes, shoes, pedicures and manicures, eating out, paying someone to clean my place, school and such.

Hi BK, sorry I'm so late responding. Early in my quit, I followed a reward system. Small daily rewards, weekly rewards, bigger monthly rewards. There came a time when not smoking was not much of an effort any more and so I didn't need the reward system for that. However, I still do reward myself after going through a big deal of some kind. Last year, when I graduated with my master's, I took a week long trip to a beach I love. I do smaller rewards too. For instance, I put off some things I'd like to do until after I finish something. When I finish a paper or test, I might take a little road trip or go shopping a little.

Also, I sometimes use not smoking as an excuse to spend a little more on my hair. Smile

Rusty, I never thought about rewarding myself with tests and such from school. Very good idea.

Essie, eating out is nice.
