Hi everyone.
I hope all is well with everyone and, more importantly, your personal quits are good n strong.
Have you guys heard of: Tea tree oil Australian chewing sticks? Tooth picks infused with tea tree oil (also called Melaleuca oil). A friend gave me a pack the other day as she'd heard they were good for quitting smokers. The tea tree oil tastes good somehow and the chewing action is awesome for grinding your way through a "moment". I find them useful now and then.
I think you can get them at Walgreens ? _________________

Hey Gary - I don't know much about tea tree oil - but I used a cinnamon stick as a substitute - the size/shape and feel in the hand is similar to a cigarette - even the hand to mouth and "ash" flick action - just don't light it up! _________________

A soda straw is also a good "replacement." _________________

Congrats on making it that far. I've never thought of chewing on anything to get over a craving, food works good for me. But that sounds kind of dangerous chewing on wood? You wouldn't want to get a splinter in your mouth. Be careful with that. |
