Hello all you wonderful people,
For the last few weeks I have been thinking about what I was going to write about for my 8tn and it has been difficult to come up with something good until Friday of this last week. I took my youngest son to a recovery center. He has been in a number of recovery centers from here in Oregon to Florida. Some times I wondered to myself if he was just on a nice vacation. When dropping him off at the center I wanted to speak with someone there in privacy. So I spoke with John in his office and he was going through all the different people that come in there for recovery and who makes it and who doesn’t. He then went on to talk about the mental battle and who wins and so on. I told him that I knew exactly what he was talking about because in two days I was going to have my 8th anniversary quitting smoking and chewing tobacco. He said “then you know what it is all about because it is the same”.
On my way back home I got to thinking about all the times that I had quit only to start again in a few days. It was only FFS, quit smoking support @ woofmang and all the helpful people that I was able to quit for good.
So to all the wonderful people out there
Thank you
God Bless
Ken |

And the same to you, Ken. Without your support as well as all the wonderful people here at woofmang, I never would have made it.
Congrats on 8 years of freedom and prayers for your son's recovery! _________________

This is VERY inspiring. I just came across this forum on google and, what a place.
I am in my early 20's and have just started to quit smoking. I am finding it VERY hard. I have set up a personal blog talking about my experiences and stuff I am trying, I am even trying hypnotherapy!
My blog can be found at quitsmokingquick .co.uk , if anyone fancies throwing some moral support my way it would be greatly appreciated.
So lucky I found this forum, it's fantastic.
