WAHOOOOOOOOOO! 8 years free today! I am sooooo happy to be free from the addiction of smoking. My life has changed so much in the last 8 years. The quality of my life has greatly improved. My health has improved. I am happier and I get so much more done. It is possible to quit and stay quit. I am convinced that you need tools (as I call them) to stay quit. A reason to quit list, a reason to stay quit list, message boards for support and a mind made up that you are done with the addiction, plus so much more. I could go on and on... but I won't except to say It IS doable.
I will never ever forget all of my early friends on these message boards. I love you all! Be the best quitter ever! _________________

Congrats, Tammy. It's sure good to hear from you and to learn that all is going so well in your life. You're so right about being a non-smoker changing a person's life for the better. I've never regretted quitting and am thankful every day for all my friends here at woofmang.
Please continue to enjoy your life of freedom and post when you can. _________________

Way to go, Tammy! We quit almost the same time. I had my eight years of freedom as of 1/1/12.
You are so right; it is worth all of the struggles to be free from that addiction!
Congrats on eight years!
