O.K.
Here is my check in
After 4 weeks on the South Beach diet and adding a daily walk to my days activities, I have lost:
7 pounds
3 inches from my waist
2 inches from my hips
1 inch from my boobs
Every day I increase my walk by a little bit. I am surprised how my stamina has increased. My hubby could hardly keep up with me today when he joined me for my walk.
Will check in periodically to let you know how its going.

Hi Carol. Great job on the SBD. You are losing in the waist and hips a lot quicker than I did. Mine all came off up top! Keep trying to add that walk to mix. I'll try harder next week.

Carol, That is so awesome!! This winter when we get those midwest winters...you may want to start the "Walk Away the Pounds" series by Leslie Sansone. I do those now and love it!!! It's an indoor walking program. I am so proud of you!!! (And envious!).

What is the "Walk away the pounds" series? Is it a book or a program. Where would I get more info on it? I am starting to get excited about this. I can't believe it.

You can get it at Walmart......look for it in the dvd section...it is a series of dvd's. I have the 'walk away the pounds express series.

Great news for you. I started on Monday so I'm finishing day 5. These first two weeks might kill me. I didn't take any measurements or even get on the scales until yesterday.

i think we can do this, i'm feeling strong. its all about choice right?

Dear Carol,

What fantastic results you've achieved in such a short period of time. I'm determined to get rid of this excess baggage too and have been using the treadmill but really haven't seen any results yet other than increased stamina.

Keep it going. Pretty soon we're going to see Carol on the front cover of Vogue.
