Nasty little subject, huh?
I can remember when I had the smokers hack and would spit/hocker about every morning. My spit would have black specks in it from the nicotine, I guess.
Then, when I quit, I wasn't one of those quitters that coughed a lot afterwards.
I've had a bit of a cold and I sort of did that spit/hocker thing the other day and NOTICED NOT ONE SPECK OF BLACK IN MY SPIT.
So, that's why this post belongs in the 'JOURNEY TOWARDS WELLNES'.
Nothing like 'healthier hockers'. _________________

Jenny,
It was one of the first htings I noticed about quitting! Wonderful, isn't it? I don't know how many peole post about this part, but I will say that it was the beginning of real, true cleanliness for me. By this I mean FEELING CLEAN. THere was something about smoking that made me feel never really clean, no matter how many showers I took, or how much I brushed, etc. Now you will be clean! It is sooo good to feel that way, to be fresh and feel lovely all the time! IN a few more days, you will notice that people stand closer to you. At first I was so surprised by that. They do it unconsciously, I think, because smell is actually one of our strongest senses.
You are going great here! Keep it up!

I agree with marw. It does make you feel clean to get it all out. I too felt dirty no matter how much i washed and brushed. Congrats on your quit. _________________
