Hi all
I know I have not posted in quite some time. But have had one Dr appointment after another. So far everything has come up fine. I have had an Upper Gi and mammogram a double biopsy and all that has been found is one yes I am in menopause as I suspected and 2 I may have sugar and 3 I have a virus called Human Papillomavirus Infection and what that is , is a virus which is common in both men and women and more than 100 types of this virus has been identified. Afew of the types have been linked to cancer and I have one of those. So I have to have a paps smear every 6 months. To be sure that if I do end up with cancer of the cervix it is caught very early.
I was scared to death for some time now. At least every thing has come out normal thus far. So I am so relieved that I decided to post on here and share it with all of you.

That's wonderful news, Leona. Tests are so scarey, especially the ones when you have to wait weeks for answers. I'm so happy to hear that you're doing so well. Keep posting. _________________

So glad to hear from you, lady, and to hear that everything is going well. It's amazing how many tests we can get these days, and how much stress they can cause in the process. the biggest stress is that of the unknown.
Sounds like you are coming up negative, which is positive, if you know what I mean. I think you should go to the head of the class for passing all your tests so well!
Seriously, glad to hear all is OK. But don't wait around so long to let us know how you are doing! _________________

Thank you to all of you who replied. I know I have been absent lately but wanted to make sure the tests came back negative first before I said anything. I am still battling depression but the medication is making it bareable. Otherwise I don't think I would of made it much longer except perhaps my deep beleif that God frowns on what was going through my mind.
I am not sure where I am going from here in regards to the depression but it will be baby steps. And I appologize to anyone whose toes I may inadvertantly of steped on. This was not intentional and I certainly would not knowingly hurt anyone but if I have please accept my appology
I am working on getting better and wondering if this will ever happen. The Ob dr has said that I am in menopause (yeah tell me something I didn't know huh) and she also said that it is possible that I am pre diabetic. My Psychologist has said that he thinks I am bi polar. What else is there?
I certainly hope that they get me fixed as I don't like my self much these days but I am really proud that I quit smoking and am coming up on a year.
I can't beleive through all of this that I am not smoking like a chimmney but am also glad that I am not as I know that this would not change how I feel or what I am doing with myself but it could very well make it worse worrying about how to get the next fix.
Again I appologize to everyone that I have not been here much. I have been on reading every day though. I just don't feel as if I have anything valuable to contribute to the new quiters right now and I am afraid of saying the wrong thing. _________________

Leona, you have always been such a positive presence on these boards and one of the reasons I am been able to get Quit and remain Quit. It's pretty hard for me to imagine you posting anything other than the loving wisdom we are used to seeing from you. Tests can indeed be stressful but I am so proud of you for taking the necessary steps to seek help and take care of yourself. You are worth it! Keep reading and post when you want. We are here for you! _________________

Leona,
Sorry to hear that you are battling with depression and bi-polar. Depression is such an enemy! Know that! Read Romans 8:1-2 .
As a young quitter...you haven't stepped on toes here or said anything wrong!!! Your posts are "GOOD". So, don't let lie to you about that!!! Keep your chin up! God is holding your hand, as you know!
May God fill you with His peace and joy.
Love ya Leona Huge Hugs to you ```(((((((((LEONA)))))))``` _________________

Leona,
I sometimes don't know what to say to others too, like now. I do hope and wish the best for you. If you are bi-polar it can be helped with meds. I am bi-polar and take Depakote. Also there is a club on Quitnet.com for bi-polar people you could check out.
