Perry was a wonderful guy. You are a wonderful guy. How lucky that you could have each other! Your brotherhood and love for each other shines through!
P.S. I try to remember this about my friend Darlene who was like a sister and died this past Spring: the part about that we had each other. And something else that someone told me: she would want me to finish the things we started together.
This was a great tribute to your friend! _________________

This is a picture of Perry and me taken in either 1958 or 1959. My guess is 1959, which would mean I had just turned 10 (since it is obviously summertime, and my birthday is June 2), and Perry would be turning 8 on August 5th.
That building was what we called "The Little House." It was hauled in from somewhere and used for storage and, for a while, for sleeping quarters for my cousin and her husband.
I can't tell for sure who is standing in the doorway to the Little House, but I think it is my Mom. The little dog is Pepper, the dog that I grew up with.
P.S. I failed to notice the processing date on that original picture. It says September 1960. _________________

OK, I looked at the original picture just now, and the processing date was September 1960. I don't know exactly when the picture was actually taken, but it would almost have to have been sometime in the summer of 1960, making me 11 years old in that pic, and Perry would turn 9 on August 5th that summer.
