I do not know how much longer I can sit up because I am so sleepy. I cannot lay down though on count of my acid reflux being so bad. In all the emotions of mine this past weekend I forgot to take my anti-acid pill in the mornings and ate a fried egg last night on top of taking Excedrin without thinking. All of which spell big trouble with my GERD. Many a time though this GERD has stopped me in my tracks from even thinking about smoking no matter what other things were going on. I learned my lesson on that one once when I had relapsed when my GERD was not under control. I really thought I would gag to death that time and it really scared me. Anyway, I won't go into any more gorey details but basically now I'm just trying to keep occupied until I can go lay down. I guess for anyone who is just starting out in their quit, if you can find just one thing you can think of that would personally stop you from smoking, figure out what it would be and think of it before smoking.
