Over a year ago I Quit and it is a done deal now. I've noted lately some struggling to keep their Quits. When I started out I started for all of the wrong reasons if the plan was to succeed. I Quit because of hubby's health problems. I armed myself not with a list of why I'd Quit but rather with a mental list of what would be an acceptable Fail point. How I made it I'll never know but that list of acceptable Fail points somehow pissed me off everytime I considered it. I drew strength from fellow Quitter's and at times was so angry at some who posted a simple smiley face at the end of their post I feared the path was impassable. I like the smiley's now but at that time I couldn't find anything to laugh at. Please put as much into your QUIT as you did into your QUIT NOT. If you smoked 10 years you have 10 years into your QUIT NOT. That's what you owe your QUIT. Go the distance QUIT means QUIT. _________________

Melody--
I love that phrase "list of acceptable fail points." That is such a good way of putting it.

Melody,
When I am 114 years young, I will be 50 years nicotine free
But I will look forward to you bringing the matches to light the celebration candles...
smiles,
