I have been imagining what it would be like to lose my child. She is depressed with thoughts of suicide and I am being selfish and thinking about where I would be without her. I need to concentrate on what SHE NEEDS. Thank you for sharing your pain with me today. I will pray for your healing.

Sandy,
I just saw your post and my heart sank. I know there are no words to ease the pain you are going through. The poem you posted is beautiful and I was wondering if you wrote it?
It so reminds me of what it feels like to lose someone you love. It just seems in life we are forever taking back step. But manage to keep going and healing. You are a strong person.

Yes Jill, I did write that poem, writing some times is the only thread that keeps me connected to this insane world. At least some days it feels like that.
Just like quitting smoking there is up and down days, but always holding on to faith as the torch to help light the way when it becomes the darkest.
Sandi, my heart is with you, please if you need anything, someone to listen to whatever, let me know. Please.
Thank you all again, one day, one step at a time, that is all I can do. And pray.

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers and notes, e-mail, and comments for hubby and I. This has been a difficult struggle with hubby and I, life is getting better and we are finding our way back to each other. Thank God this loss is not going to tear this marriage apart. I was so fearful for some time.
We will be celebrating our 14th anniversary the 27th of this month; we have been together for 16 years. Too much history to say goodbyes, we have so much left to offer each other. Who knows some day he may even decide to quit smoking?
On a better note, Alison and I met in the 3D world; on her move north we connected for an awesome Breakfast and conversation. I met the love of her life. When I get my pictures developed I will post them on the galley page. This visit was the highlight of my last year.
Thanks again everyone for understanding life is a bummer at times and hiding out helped me heal in a way.
