Hi All,
I could only get a protective order for 6 months in court yesterday. My husband had a lawyer and I did not. The judge gave my husband permission to only come by for an hour tomororw to get his things. What a con because I already gave him most of his things. I have no one to be here when my husband comes unless my cleaning lady's husband by some miricle gets off from work early and comes by. An out of state friend offered for me to come to live with her in a few months. I spoke with my brother's wife tonight about my what my girfriend out of state said and she said she thought it was a great idea. Every one of my family members have left me stranded. It hurts too. I only have one of my brother's in town and the only other relative a cousin. I had left word asking my cousin to call me in the morning to wake me up so I could get to court and he couldn't even do that. None of my family calls me ever and when I call them they rush me off the phone. My brother's wife only talks to me a couple of times a week now because of the recent events of my marriage. Screw them all. I don't need family that is going to not give a damn about me.

Barbara, I think your husband has to schedule a time when he will come by to pick up his stuff. I don't think he can just drop by whenever he wants. Also, you should contact the police department and explain the situation. They will arrange for an officer to be there when your husband comes by. _________________

Carla's absolutely right. The time must be set and agreeable to you and a police officer will, if asked, be in attendance. At least that's the way it is here.
You remain in my thoughts and prayers. _________________

Hi all,
The desk sergeant has to give an officer permission to come by my house. I called the police today. I have to call back in a couple of hours. I'll just be glad to get this all over with.
