I have set tomorrow as my new quit day. I am so angry at smoking and I am so determined that I am going to quit. I really hate these cigarettes for the hold they have. I don't really have constant cravings, but it is more from habbit. So, Tomorrow is the day. I will beat this nasty killing habbit if it's the last thing I do. Watch out nicodemon, I am really, really going to kill you. _________________

Dear Sue,
If I can quit after smoking for over 45 years, you can too. I'm only 1 month and 2+ weeks into my quit but feel certain it's going to last. I don't tknow how long you were smoke free before but I sure feel better now than I did when I was smoking. Granted, the first few weeks are the real PITS. After that, however, it seems to become more tolerable every day.
I have faith in you. Your post sounds so very positive. You CAN do this, Sue.

|

Dear Sue,
Just keep thinking of yourself as a non-smoker. Also, think of how great you're going to feel when you no longer have to worry about whether or not you have enough cigarettes to last; did you put enough of them into your purse; is there a "smoking section" where you're going. All these little things that smokers must consider, we no longer have to worry about. It's a great feeling of freedom.
Hang in there and let nicodemon have "what for."
