Lose weight....no not me...I have gained a ton of it though...need some...

Walking must be the culprit making me eat so much....

I agree healthy food is better than the sweets...feeling down and out

affects the appetite but so does stress....If you continue to lose weight, a

visit for a checkup would be a good idea...Don't lose too much or that

sneaky ole lizzard will come and live in your thighs and hang from your

arms...ole stretchy skin... Laughing Laughing

Hey Dina....

Are you talking about people saying that the extra weight gained during the quit will be lost, and you know of a person who did lose that weight, put then gained it back?

If so....the weight gained from quitting is due to overeating...pure and simple. Yes, the metabolism slows down some...an extra 5 to 10 lbs is the normal gain. Beyond that, honestly, it's just because we tend to stuff our mouths to replace the smoking hand to mouth reflex/action/routine.

So, it's a personal and individual type of thing. Just like some will exercise and some won't. Some will be conscience of what they eat and some won't. Some will work hard to get it off and keep it off, and some are like me, who, for the most part right now....are ok with the little extra cush! Wink

Deb I can't be sure, I may be wrong but I think what Dinadilo1 is trying to say is if a person cuts out the junk food they lose the weight but soon get bored and go back to the junk food and put it all back on?? Like I said I may be wrong but this is my take on it.
