I am so proud of myself..pat, pat, pat...I have exercised everyday for over a week...I can now stay on the treadmill for a full twenty minutes without it feeling like my lungs are going to explode... Wink In fact, today hubby and I were actually carrying on a conversation...I am also using light weight every other day....not bad for an old lady huh??? Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Now, maybe I will be able to get on my horse without having to find a stump and turn all shades of red in the face while trying to pull myself up. Laughing I still want to sleep late in the mornings though...must be the 9 times I have to get up to let the dog out to do his business...... Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes oh well, one problem at a time...
Kay

Boogie! Woo-hoo! You are rockin' and rollin' Kay!!
Isn't it amazing how we can inspire ourselves to do so many things because we learned that we can choose not to smoke?!?! Wow, you continue to inspire, Kay!!

Kay,

I'm proud of you. When I was working and had to get up at 6 a.m. I never wanted to get up except on my days off I'd spring out of the bed sharp as a nail.

How is Guss doing?

How cute Jim...Yep that is me this morning..I am up to 30 minutes on level 3 with speed of 3 if that makes sense to anyone...I am now looking into an elliptical machine to finish me off....I am amazed at how quickly I have been able to add to my time and the strength I am getting....
why, I will swing right up on that ole horse...I will not have to hunt another stump... Laughing Laughing

Fantastic Kay! My company just started a "Be Healthy" challenge - to not be eliminated all you have to do is 20 minutes of activity at least five times a week (Wednesday to Wednesday). If you do - you are entered into a drawing for prizes - and there is also a competition between offices and functional areas - based on number of participants who meet the weekly challenge. When you stop to think about it - you can find 20 minutes to take a walk....alot of people do it at lunch. Its pretty easy for me - since I already exercise nearly everyday. The challenge goes until November. We'll see what happens! You should be proud of your accomplishment!! Its not easy to make changes! But it must feel great! The ellipticals are nice - gentler on the knees!
