I haven't had the flu in years but this thing I've got now sure does feel like it. I'm achy, running a fever, weak, headache to kill, and head cold. At least I don't smoke which would terrible with the way I feel.

Embarassed Embarassed I'm so sorry Barbara..I hope you start feeling better soon!
But you are right, if you were smoking, it would be a worse.

Take care, drink lots of flu, and get lots of rest!

((hugs))

I had the flu over Christmas, and there is still a lingering cough and croaky voice. It sent me to bed for 4 days and I had very little appetite! So I empathise totally.

On the up side I lost about 7lbs over Christmas instead of gaining some Laughing

That's sure no fun, Barbara. Hope it's the 24-hour kind that sweeps in and quickly sweeps out.

Thank you Pearl,

Today I went outside for the 1st time in 3 days. I went to the mail box and to visit a neighbor who also has the flu. When she lit up a cigarette I left though.

Feel better and take it slow, Barbara.
You will heal more quickly without smoking! And guess what I noticed, I had it too and I was so miserable I couldn't have imagined smoking on top of all that! It's a good moment to check in with how you feel and re-commit again for yet another reason to the best thing you've ever done!

Very Happy Thank you Gidget. Yes, it is a good time to re-connect with one of the reasons not to smoke. I'm hoping to get into my new camera this weekend if I continue to feel better.
