What I did was put in like so many minutes for a cigarette.....
you know how they used to say every cigarette takes 5 minutes off your life, or something?
Ill have to look what I put in, although my counter is on my work computer. I will look in the morning.
congrats to you!

there are "quit meters" that will calculate this for you (there's one built in to your profile when you sign up at quitnet.com, and there are others, but i'm not sure where; you might try googling "quit meter"), but the rule of thumb is a cigarette robs you of 11 minutes of life on average, so you multiply the number of cigarettes not smoked times 11 to get the number of minutes, and then you get the hours, days, etc., from that.

for instance, at this point, my quit gadget says that i've been smoke free for 2,891 days, 22 hours, 35 minutes and 49 seconds, that i have chosen not to smoke 57,839 cigarettes, and that i've saved $14,455.00 and 14 months, 21 days, 19 hours of life.
