I have a question regarding insomni. When I first quit, I had to deal with insomnia. The first two weeks of my quit were pure hell when it came to sleep. It took a while for me to fall asleep, and I would wake up every hour. I am a person who before my quit would sleep 8 hours straight no matter what was happening in my life. Well the last 3 weeks I slept like I normally did before I quit. Last night however the insomnia came back. I know everyone's quit is different. But what I want to know has anyone else experienced this a month and a half after he or she quit. I tried taking a warm bath with lavender oil, camamille tea, relaxation techniques last night nothing worked.

i had it a little bit of insomnia, off and on, and somebody recommended melatonin (there are different brands; take a look at walgreen's or cvs or walmart or sam's); it really seemed to help, and there's no "hangover" like you might get with sleep aids that have diphenhydramine (the stuff in benadryl that makes you sleepy).

Five days into it I'm sleeping like a rock. I have noticed I'm especially sensitive to caffeine. I'm really having to cut back on my intake. Could that be affecting you?

Thanks Kevin for the melatonin tip. I heard of it but forgot it existed until your post. I will go out and buy some today while I am out and about.
