I really wasn't thinking about another lunaversary...wow!
My sister had her hip replaced on Tuesday - so I'm in Syracuse with her this week. Drove up on Sunday and plan to drive back on Sunday. I bought SNOW tires for my car - the all season radials just weren't giving me the traction I wanted in snow. We had freezing rain the morning of the surgery when I was driving her to the hospital - I was very glad I'd gone with the snow tires. We've gotten a little more snow everday!
Anyway - the surgery went well and she is going ok - they got her out of bed the day after the surgery and have her walking short distances and doing Physical Therapy twice a day! We are both glad its over and that it went well. Her surgeon has done over 7,000 hip replacements - so he had a good idea of what he needed to do!
Thanks for keeping me on the straight and narrow path of freedom! And thanks Kay, Kevin, Jim, Barbara, Essie and Moose for helping me celebrate another Lunaversry! _________________

glad to hear your sister came through the operation so well!
and i know what you mean about all-seasons that don't give enough traction; we had about 4 inches of wet snow drop in about an hour after lunch, and the temperature dropped about 20 degrees at the same time - it was tricky going for a bit... _________________
