How can you tell where the focus point is in the picture when you take it? _________________

i'm not sure what you mean by "focus point", barbara - if you're meaning the "focal point", it simply means the place where the light coming through the lens converges to a point (this is a real oversimplification, but i'm not that savvy that i can actually explain the optics of it). in a film camera, that would be the surface of the film; in a digital, it would be the surface of the sensor.
hope this helps. _________________
