HI everyone. I was on last night for the first time in awhile... :/
There were 13 guests on last night and 12 today . Im going to try to get on more often to help those newbies. hopefully they sign up. This site was an unbelieveable help to me when i quit 4 years ago and so active.
Thanks kevin, for all you do. _________________

I'm ok. A false start last week. I made it four days before I cracked. Today I'm starting again with the hope that I will succeed. I've been educating myself on the symptoms of withdrawal and reading everyones story. |

Welcome to woofmang, MaryAngela. Keep working at that precious quit.
This is a wonderful place to be and Pinkpearl is right; read back at the older posts. In face, read everything you can about quitting.
When I quit, I kept a journal. When I "wanted" a cigarette, I picked up a pen instead and wrote how I was feeling and why I wasn't going to smoke. By the time I had finished writing, the craving had left and I had beaten again.
Hang on. We're here to help you. _________________

Hi MaryAngela -Welcome to woofmang!! I hope you are progressing with YOUR quit...it is do-able - and knowing and understanding the power of nicotine addiction will help get you to quit! Its a great feeling of freedom to not have to spend so much time thinking about where and when you can smoke your next cigarette. Take it one day at time... _________________
