Good for you, Kay. There is sooooo much new technology available today. It's great to keep learning.

Wish we had young grandchildren. Ours are 26, 23, 21 and 20. Hardly the "reading to" crowd anymore.

Counting on our married granddaughter to give us a great grandchild but she wants to wait until she finishes her MBA. Hope we're still able to enjoy children when that day comes.

now that I have had some time to play with the Nook, I can honestly say I love it... Hubby and I look like two kids sitting around a camp fire with flashlights telling ghost stories instead of two old coots reading mysteryies on a Nook and I pad.... Laughing Laughing He said if someone broke in they would run...there we are all propped up reading in the dark with only the glow of electronics on our faces.... Laughing Laughing

You paint a very funny picture, Kay. Sounds like fun, though. Have fun with your electronic readers.

Kay, I got one about a year ago. It took me a little while to get used to not holding a paper book, but I love it now. I was reading a paper book the other day and when I got to the bottom of the page, I tapped the book - TWICE. It took me a minute to figure out why the page wasn't turning.
