... Well the little ole lady aka MIMI is moving in with us this Friday as soon as we pick her up from Rehab. She is 94 years young and broke her hip three weeks ago JUMPING to hang a blouse on a hook.... keep us in your thoughts and prayers that we will be able to keep up with Laughing her... Laughing Laughing Laughing She is losing her eyesight due to macular degeneration and if she takes out her hearing aids she is deaf...but her mind is sharper than most people I know....too sharp for a nursing home or assisted living.....uh, she thinks she is just coming here to finish her rehab....somebody please take her batteries somewhere to slow them a tad...don't know if I can push the chair fast enough... Laughing Laughing

She is doing great...they put her in the shower today...boy she hated that... Laughing Laughing said it was senseless and she could have done it herself in minutes...yep, I'd say we are on the road to recovery.

Sorry I haven't written sooner, Kay. I totally missed your post on March 7.

Sounds like your house is really jumping with your new resident. She must be quite a handful. I can't imagine being 94 and so sharp. My Mom lived to be 94 but the last two years were pretty tough. She had several strokes and became bed-ridden. I wish she had been like your mother-in-law.

Hang in there, friend. You're a special person to welcome her into your home. Smile

Hope your new roommate is doing well with the move! Patience and love are all you need! Hang in there - you are all in my prayers...

Make sure the caretaker takes care of herself!
Hang in there!
