I feel so much better. I can breathe ... take long breaths and exhale it all. I must have been so congested because I would get winded after going up a flight of stairs. I have, I'm sure, done irreparable harm to my lungs and as I age, it will probably get worse. But I don't have to make it any worse. That's why I decided to take this quit so seriously. I don't want to get any worse. It just happens all of a sudden, too. I noticed it when I was doing gardening the last couple of years.... I would get winded so fast! I just raked a bunch of leaves and I did get a workout but I was not winded like I would be had I been smoking. So, I am happy I was able to do the leaf raking. Plus, it gave my face a great color! |

It's great seeing and feeling the life-saving results of quitting. Hang in there. It just gets better and better. Keep raking and breathing. _________________

Congratulations on sticking with it. The feelings of becoming helthier have only just begun. Be strong, Be tuff.
