Tomorrow will be my 4 week marker since I quit smoking. I hope this is my last quit ever. I still take it one day at a time and am feeling very good!
Even though I was smoking last year, I was on the site often, because I wanted to quit again, and I was reading Laney's entries and she was a big inspiration in me quitting again. Does anyone know anything about her?
Thanks! _________________

Hi Bamatam ~ congratulations on being free 4 weeks now! Great job! Sorry, haven't heard anything about Laney, but do think about her. Keep up the quit and check in again soon. _________________

Congrats Bamatam. You're doing great. We're all very concerned about Laney -- haven't heard anything for quite a while now and none of us know how to reach her except through Woofmang.
You're at 4 weeks of freedom now. That's quite a milestone and just the beginning of a life of beautiful smells, tastes, deep breaths and everything else that's pleasurable. Keep that quit going. _________________

Bamatam - I think Laney would be so happy to know that she's influenced your quit...she tried and tried and tried again - as you know if you've read her posts. You own your quit! It's all yours...love it, nurture it, and keep it going!! Think of Laney as your quit angel...just imagine what she would tell you, if you find yourself in a weak moment - or struggling to stay quit. Believe in yourself! YOU CAN DO IT!!!!! _________________

July 31st will be my 6th complete month being smoke-free!! Woofmang has been a great inspiration through the years of me trying quit several times. The tales I have read and reread, the people on the site and their stories.
@Mary Dude - Thanks so much for your words about Laney. I wish I could've quit earlier, so that I could have told her what an inspiration she was in my quit. I will always consider her my smoke free gaurdian angel.
Thanks to Kevin, the people on this site!
