Margaret...here is the first of the poems I told you I would post on this forum for your friend. She will be in my prayers.

I woke up one day when living in PA and felt as we all do at times, down in the dumps. I started writing a heart filled poem and decided to take a twist towards humor. I felt better the rest of the day.

Feeling Blue

I’m feeling kind of blue today and I don’t understand,
All is going well with us and spring has touched our land.

I have a job I truly like; I enjoy going there,
So many people I have met, some that really care.

We have a dream of far away that lives within our hearts,
We enjoy making plans that will bring a bran new start.

No problems with our children, each live out on their own,
This is the time we’ve waited for; each healthy safe and grown.

So why am I feeling blue today this complicates the mind,
The reason why my sprits low, I cannot seem to find.

We have a farm, a plan, a dream, the future’s looking bright,
But feeling blue has got me down and I can’t make it right.

As I gaze up to the calendar I’m going to take a guess,
My problem is I do believe, a woman’s PMS.

I say we women have PMS all our lives. This is the reason for mood swings, and rantings. (MY story and I am sticking to it.)

I loved your ramble. I printed off a copy for my stop smokiing folder. Some times I sit back read and refect.

Thank you again for sharing. Sorry about your down mood and problems with...you know who. I hope things get better today.

I'm staying out of any PMS conversations. I always get into trouble on those. Nope. No Way! I'm outta here!
