Hi,

I joined Weight Watchers the same week I quit (last week). I lost 4 pounds and haven't smoked in eleven days.

I think if I can do it than anyone can.

I was so out of control, I was smoking 1 to two packs a day, am at least 74 pounds overweight, and also drank a lot of beer.

I just figured, that the money I'm saving by not smoking cigarrettes is more than WW cost, and I would be suffering anyway, so why try to quit smoking and lose weight at the same time.

I feel great!!!! (I never would have believed what a difference in me in just eleven days.)

My doctor is going to freak out.

Anyone else out there doing WW also?

Julie

That was a great idea because it so easy to start overeating when you quit Laughing Demon .
We don't have WW where I live (town is too small). Wish I could do it on the Internet also.

You're doing a great job on both things. Keep it up. You'll feel better and better every week.

Dear Julie,

Congrats on your quit and your weight loss. I have gained weight since quitting but my Cardiologist told me last week that I wasn't overweight YET. He just asked that I try not to gain too much more. Because of what he said, I'm going to begin watching calories on Monday. Just can't bring myself to begin over the week-end.

I wish you much luck with both endeavors. You're doing great.

Julie I did WW all last year and loved it. I think it's very easy and you'll find that you get quite a bit of support with very little judgement. I admit that I haven't gone in a while because I've been struggling with this quit but I may possibly go back. Keep up the good work. Kerry
