Does anyone have an email address for Londa? She hasn't posted since complaining about being dizzy on the 25th, nor has she picked up the pm I sent her yesterday. It is still in my outbox.

i just posted a tip (up in "message board tips") about this question, Tonya; here's the text of that tip:

if you go to any member's profile (or look at the bottom of any of their posts), you'll find a button that says "email". if you click that button, one of two things will happen:

if that member has chosen to reveal their email address, your email client should open a new message, addressed to them.

if that member has not chosen to reveal their email address, you'll be taken to a form where you can email them through the site (this is to protect member's privacy; when using this option, you won't be able to see their email address).

Thanks Kevin. I had already checked her profile and knew it wasn't there. I was hoping she had shared her email address with someone here and they could email her and see if she was okay. I would never want to invade someone's privacy. I was worried about her because the last time she posted she was feeling dizzy and that was on the 25th. Very Happy

Tonya,

If you hear from her or get in contact with her, let us know how she is.

I've been wondering myself how she was and am worried.

Tonya, I had pm'd her as well and she has not picked it up either. Please let me know if you here from her outside of this board. I have been worried about her, too.

Thank you my friend,

Laurie

I am so sorry! I had no idea I would be missed. I have pm all that pm me. I am truly sorry for worrying people. I have been extremely busy here at work ( I work at a school) plus at home my computer is upstairs and it gets real hot (no air conditioning)

What I was feeling wasn't true dizziness I guess. Called the doctor and they said I was suffering from anxiety plus too much caffine. I believe someone on this board did mention you needed to cut down on caffine when you quit. WELL I AM A BELIEVER!

THe next time I take a break, I'll make sure to let everyone know. I truly am sorry. I didn't mean to be inconsiderate. Please forgive me for that.

BUT, here is the important stuff! I AM STILL SMOKE FREE!
yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just keep telling myself, what I learned from Kevin.
I CHOOSE NOT TO SMOKE!

I love you all!

May Jesus Bless All your lifes today with joy and warm kindness that you have given me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Very Happy

Love, Londa

Londa, I'm so glad! Yeah, the body uses at least 2x as much caffeine when we're using nicotine...I'm down to a cup or two on the weekend of coffee...and I used to drink a LOT of coffee!!! Wink

Hi Londa....my coffee consumption has dropped in half. Those first few weeks of my quit I was having the same type of feeling and finally figured out I was just high on caffiene!

So proud of you for maintaining your awesome quit! We get to be family around here Londa and I was just concerned about you not feeling well and then being gone....oh did I mention I am a worrier???? Well, now you know.

Thank you for the pm and have yourself a wonderful day!

Laurie

Londa,

Good to hear that the dizziness wasn't anything serious. I'm a heavy coffee drinker myself, so glad you posted what the doctor said. I'll be keeping it in mind. Very Happy

Take care,
Deb

Londa,

There's also a flu going around (all of the symptoms mimic mild withdrawal) that causes fluid to build up on your inner ear. This can cause SEVERE dizziness. I had this happen a couple of months ago and thought I had smoked the cigarette that was going to kill me already. Turns out I'm as healthy as a horse (pure luck) and I needed anti-histimines to dry up my inner ear.

Dizziness can be a symptom of heart problems, stroke, kidney failure, liver disease, severe constipation, etc..... so it's good you went to the doctor!

If your dizziness doesn't subside, try taking some anti-histimines. Boy, I hope I'm spelling that correctly. Where's my spell checker?????
