I get the news letter from ediets every morning. Today the topic was how to build up your motabolism. if you do any kind of aerobic excersise, such as , running, riding a bike or walking, every 5 minutes speed up the routine for 1 minute then go back to what you were doing. I do 20 minutes of walking on my treadmill every day, today I tried the 1 minute every 5 minute excersise, which meens i sped up my routine 4 times during my walk. I could definatly feel the extra wind it took for that 1 minute . I don't know if it works but I am giving it a try, seeings how Iv'e gained 6 punds sense my quit. Jeri |

sounds sensible to me, Jeri - i'm doing basically the same kind of thing with my exercise program, and it's working for me.

Dear Jeri,
I'm using a treadmill too; 30 minutes 4 days/week. Thanks for the idea. I plan to give it a try. So far I've lost 6 pounds. No complaints here. As long as I don't gain anymore, I'm a happy camper. Of course the low fat diet has to be helping too. _________________
