I am in a bad mood. I am so mad. Here it is the holiday weekend, I love to golf. My husband made plans with his daughter to golf on sunday, and Monday. He doesn't even ask his wife to golf with him, I feel like I am just here to take care of his house and needs, when ever it comes to having fun on the golf course he asks his daughter. I am so mad, mad, mad, I am writing this because in the past I would go out side and smoke a million cigarettes until I felt better. Now that I don't smoke I have to talk about it. i can't think of a better place to write. I don't have a desire to smoke which is the good news. I am surprised I don't have the urge, because usually in a time like this , this is the first thing that comes to my mind. Well that is it in a nut shell. the rest of the day I am going to do my own thing and pretend he is not in the house. Have a great day. and thanks for listening to me vent. Rolling Eyes Jeri

Laughing Surprised The event are not funny but the way you tell it! I think I would be looking for another golfing partner...someone you enjoy playing with...so proud you did not smoke or decaptitate him. Laughing Laughing

Jeri, you can get through this without wreaking havoc and ending up with a police record. I like Kay's suggestion, find a partner and do doubles. Or go shopping. That will learn them Very Happy

I am glad you posted. The early days of a Quit are such a roller coaster ride. This too shall pass.

Dear Jeri...
Don't be a golf widow...join a league or go golfing with your girlfriends. Take lessons...get lots of cute golf outfits...get a hole-in-one. I used to be a golf widow. My ex played every night after work, every weekend, every vacation. I had breast surgery and gave birth (alone) because he was in a golf tournament! I could go on but I think you get the idea.
Don't be in a bad mood...there are lots of things to do out there..l.I used to be pissed all the time and it did absolutely no good whatsoever. It only made me miserable. If you smoke then you let him win.
Good luck to you

Ok, I suppose that this is a dumb question but have you ever told him how you felt about this? Maybe if he knew how much you wanted to golf with him he wouldn't keep asking his daughter. My husband wishes I were interested in golf - I tried but I just don't get it. Let you husband know what a lucky guy he is!!! Kerry
