Well, I got my exercise in today. I just finished trimming all the bushes around the house with the electric clippers (hubby don't do bushes). The last time I did that was before I quit and neither one of us thought I would be able to finish it. I was breathing so hard and heaving to catch my breath. Today, however, I found that I knocked them out like old times and even was able to use the blower to clean up the mess. Now, this blower is bigger than I am so that was a hoot I sent hubby to the Elks to watch the Ala vs Tennessee game....he is spoiled you see because I did all the yardwork for the 20+years I did not work outside the home...luckily, my dad kept a nice place and I learned from watching. Of course, I was not allowed to do anything but I could watch....What the hell happened???

Kay I used to do all the yard work when I was a stay-at-home mom. Loved it. My electric hedge cutters got taken away from me when my finger got in the way and I need stitches. Now I have to use the manual ones. Not nearly as much fun but lots of extra exercise! May I suggest a long hot bubble bath, candles and a glass of that 7-11 wine we talked about. What a way to end the day! _________________

Good for you Kay. I do all the trimming at my house, the only thing that I don't do in the yard is cut the lawn, but my husband has a riding lawn mover. Jeri |
