Hi all
I just learned this evening my Brother-In-Law died. He was recovering from surgery of Throat Cancer, 30 plus years of smoking. 2nd time,f cancer of the throat , 1st time, raditation treatment fixed him, we thought. Five years ago, heart attack. Recovered, did not stop smoking,, 14 months ago, cancer of the throat detected. he stopped smoking. Last week surgery, removed cancer, looked good, prognosis, a big yeah! 4 AM 28 October 2004 (PST) I lost my brother-in-law, one more heart attack. To my Sister Annie, I devote a whole bunch of time in destroying tobacco companies hold on us.

sorry to hear it, Jim - it's so tragic when someone can't seem to stop feeding their addiction even in the face of strong evidence like a heart attack - it's just one more testament to the evil of big tobacco. _________________

Jim,
I am truly sorry for your loss, please send our condolences to your sister and family. It makes me mad everytime I hear of a smoking related death. Even as a smoker, I would simply say "Why don't the gov just shut the companies down and quit selling the damn things". Taxes is the answer to that one...they do not want to give up all the tax revenue they receive all the sell of cigarettes...regardless of the fact that it kills people everyday....sure makes you wonder just how far up their yaya their brain is???? _________________

Dear Jim,
You have my heartfelt thoughts and prayers. What a terrible waste it is to lose a loved one to cigarettes. "There but for the grace of God, go I."
God bless you! _________________

Jim - I'm very sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers. It is so sad - when tobacco and the nicotine addiction which makes it so hard to stop using tobacco - claim yet another life. To have fought with the cancer and then have a fatal heart attack. We'll all have to hope that we've stopped soon enough....
Take good care of yourself and be there for your sister. _________________

Jim
I am very sorry for your loss. I won't even begin to say I know how it feels even though I have a very good idea loosing 3 family members this year alone and probably one more on the way.
You are in my prayers. And your family also.
Keep plugging away at them there tobbacco companies.
