it seems as though i've been seeing a lot of people celebrating a year or more of freedom lately, and i decided to take a quick peek at the quit dates in the database to see if i could confirm this phenomenon; i could, and i did:
of the people who have a quit date entered in their profile, 39 have been quit for over a year, with 5 celebrating their first anniversary in just the past 2 weeks!!
you guys are doing great!!!
keep it going! _________________

Those statistics are really encouraging! I sort of intuitively knew that this support group would be part of a long term quit. The positive re-inforcement in a non-threatening, non-judgemental environment with a group of folks that have a common experience - choosing a smoke free life - is a very, very good thing! I'm sure glad I found woofmang.com - Thanks! _________________

Like Mary D, I'm so happy that I found woofmang. I can't believe I've been free for over 6 months and I have you, Kevin, and all the people here to thank. Having seen 39 people become free for an entire year is fantastic. Let's all keep it going. _________________

Hi Everyone!!!
Just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a glorious holiday season. And yes, I am still enjoying a smoke free life!!! That darn nicodemon still likes to raise his ugly head once in a great while, but he's so easy to kick to the curb! I love that part!!! You all take care and for you newbies, hang in there......it gets easier everyday and I smoked for 32 years so I know you can do it too!
Take care,

Kevin,
Pat yourself on the back for providing such a welcoming and supportive website. Those numbers and, more importantly, the people representing the numbers ARE JUST AWESOME!!!!!
It's dance a jig time for the 39 one year and olders!!!

This post is cool, and I thought I'd take a look see, too, since there seem to be so many anniversaries.
Today, Zuzu makes 50 one year quitters in the data-base! Now that's a big table full! I hope you don't all have separate checks! _________________
