|
|
It finally happened to me. I broke my left wrist and severely sprained it at the same time. I was walking my dog in the snowstorm last weekend and slipped on some ice and hit the deck. It happened so fast! My first reaction was to stop the fall backwards with my hand.
Bzzzztt.. wrong answer! Ouch, I', in a cast up to my left elbow. I'm left handed too, so it makes things even tougher.
I didn'y miss any work though and I'm travelling to Detroit Thursday again, so no relief there.
That's okay because T.O. will take my place in the superbowl. Go EAGLES! _________________

Bummer, Frankie! Sorry about your wrist!
Hope it heals quickly and completely without complications.

Dear Frankie,
This woman has enough troubles with Tom.
How can two lovable men come into my life at one time with their troubles, tears and tribulations.
So, you are a broken left handed wide receiver and Tom wishes his butt would go away but still wishes to ride in a jeep.
Utterly Hopeless.
Frankie, you can give your beautiful wife and family a special gift for Valentines Day.
Lucky Seven months on the 14th of February.
The Eagles will win the super bowl, 27 to 24, maybe.

Sounds painful Frankie ~ How on earth are you typing with one hand?
I hope you heal quickly and aren't in any pain.

Another good thing about quiting smoking, your body will heal much more quickly now that it isn't fighting nicotine. I've known several folks who have slipped on ice and all said the same thing as you ~ it happens so quickly. Sorry!
Hope it heals ultra fast! _________________

Tough break, Frankie! sorry, had to try that one.
On the bright side, look at all the chores you can get out of! Sorry to hear about Detroit. But it could be worse...Flint! (sorry in advance to anyone out there who lives in Flint, has family who lives in Flint, or is unfortunate enough to be the mayor of Flint!.) _________________

I am healing quickly, so I might be ready for the superbowl. I'll just have to drink heavily with my right hand.
I invented a scratching tool and I'm ready to market it on EBay. You'll just have to search for it under itchy cast when it hits the market.
Gentle Breeze, I need you to consult the medicine man and give me your best remedy for an Eagle victory, after all, the large bird has a special place place in indian folklore, besides what the heck is a New England Patriot anyway?
The important thing though this is that I never ever thought about smoking. It feels good to be quit. Thanks to all of you for helping me stay quit! _________________

My thoughts are with you.... I've been there and know the road to recovery can seem long. Maybe not smoking will hurry the process; it's beneficial in so many other ways!

So sorry you broke your wrist but if you had to do it, better when the temperatures are low. There's nothing more uncomfortable than a sweaty cast in the hot and humid summer.
Heal fast and enjoy the Super Bowl. _________________

Frankie, I am so sorry to hear about your break!
But I'm behind you all the way! GO EAGLES! (even though I'm a Bills fan) I do NOT want to see New England win. THAT IS NOT AN OPTION!
(That phrase is catchy!)
So I will be thinking of you drinking your beer rooting for the Eagles. I've got Big Money on this game! ($1.00 each square ) Oh yeah $25.00 a square also on another bet (hope I win that one!)
I better be careful, I have such an addicted personality, don't need to get addicted to gambling now
GO EAGLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frankie:
I'm witcha on the Eagles. Not that I dislike the Patriots, but they have won the Super Bowl recently. Besides, I kinda like the NFC better than the AFC.

Hope you are healing well Frankie.
The last family pictures you send me are so beautiful.
You are blessed indeed.
Well Tom,
There are only two things that count when the players are on the field (in order):
1. Tackling
2. Blocking
There are three things that count when the players are off the field (in order).
1. Love for God
2. Love for Family
3. Love for Team
Knowing of the good men who play on the Patriots and Eagles, this is a tie.
But ties are not allowed, so:
Eagles 27 to Patriots 24.
Brett Farve is the best because he is good in all ways.

Wow Frank what a coincedence. I broke my right wrist and I am right handed. I was mountain biking and fell off my bike on a downhill section. It hurts but you will heal so much faster. I am already in a brace and I had surgery a week ago. My incision is almost completely healed. The human body works miracles when it isn't being damaged all the time.
Feel better soon. _________________
