Thank heavens I am feeling much better....I have been working out a little each day trying to regain my strength and tone up this mess of a body it has made me have more stamina and I am feeling alive again.
So, everyone jump up and down with glee for I got to ride my new saddle today on a three and half hour trail ride. We rode on another hunting club property that was simply gorgeous. Ole Gus just loved it, especially when we left the trail crossed a creek and he could play pole bending with the trees. I swear this is the horse from snowy river...does not need a trail just makes one on his own .
The saddle fits him perfectly thank goodness as the two week trial has been long gone...I will know more tomorrow if it fits my behind any better but as for today, it rode fantastic. It is a much cheaper saddle than what I was riding but I believe Gus liked the fact that this one weighs about 25lbs less than the old one. He did so great today...I just knew I could ride this big boy...even when others would offer to ride him out for me, I knew I had to do it and he had to want to....we are reaching that point now...once you have the want to out of a horse...it is one great and safe ride....
OK, thanks so much for listening..I know you can all hear me being happy about the saddle, horse and being able to breathe normal again.

Thanks for the smiles. No wonder I keep dreaming about horses, I can hear you echo through the mountains.
You sound great...you and Gus sound like a match made in heaven.
Happy trails.

Geez, Kay, it's great to know you're "back in the saddle again." The minute I saw the title to this post I knew who wrote it and also knew the author was feeling much better.
Keep it up and don't let anymore "bugs" catch up with you. _________________

Yi-pi-yi-ay, Yi-pi-yi-o,
..Kay and Gus went riding out
one bright and windy day......
..Upon a ridge they rested
as they went along their way......
...When all at once a mighty herd
of red eyed cows they saw
.....A'plowin' through the ragged skies
and up a cloudy draw......
Yi-pi-yi-ay, Yi-pi-yi-o......
I do not have the voice that londa has, but I just wanted to let you know how happy I was that you and Gus were up and about .....I am so glad that the saddle works for the two of you two spirits on the ride
