GUESS I CANT SAY ALMOST READY TO RACE! IM PRETTY DARN SLOW AT THE MOMENT. BUT WANTED EVERYONE TO KNOW IM BACK & SURGERY WENT GREAT! THE DOC & NURSES SAY I REALLY AM HEALING GREAT. AFTER 2 DAYS I WAS WALKING BOTH HALLWAYS THERE. OUTSIDE MY HOSPITOL WINDOW I COULD SEE THE SMOKING AREA. I COULDNT BELIEVE HOW MANY PATIENTS HAD THE NURSES WALK THEM OUT FOR A SMOKE. THEY LOOKED REDICULOUS OUT THERE WITH IVS, GOWNS, ROBES & SLIPPERS. A NURSE WAS WALKING WITH ME LAST NIGHT & MENTIONED SHE HAD TO WALK A PATIENT OUT EARLIER THAT DAY & I TOLD HER I WAS SURE GLAD I DIDNT HAVE TO DO THAT ANYMORE . AFTER SMOKING 25 YEARS IT SURE FELT GOOD NOT TO HAVE TO. SHE ASKED HOW I QUIT & I TOLD HER ABOUT FFS & WOLFMANG. SHE SAID HER FIANCE HAD BEEN TRYING TO QUIT. MAYBE HELL SHOW UP!! THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS BEFORE MY SURGERY TOO. I PRINTED THEM OFF & READ THEM WHILE I WAS THERE. THIS IS A FANTASTIC SITE! DEB Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Deb, so glad to know your surgery and recovery are going well. I'm also glad to hear your Quit is still going strong. It is totally amazing how silly smoking looks when you take the time to truly see. Shocked

Hi, Deb. Welcome to post-surgery. It's so good to hear from you and to learn that all went well. Now you have a great excuse (or reason) to relax and be waited upon. Take it easy!

Deb, welcome back and wishing you a speedy back recovery. Glad surgery went well. Isn't it amazing how people are in the hospital to get better, and yet they still go outside to smoke. Even when I smoked I never understood that. But now that I am learning more about the addiction. Whew!

Happy to hear your still free from smoking! Very Happy

God Bless your recovery and your life!

Love, Londa

Deb - slow and steady wins the race!!! I'm glad you are on the road to recovery from the surgery as well as quitting. Non-smokers heal better and faster! Remember...do what the doctor's tell you!
