Nasty little subject, huh?

I can remember when I had the smokers hack and would spit/hocker about every morning. My spit would have black specks in it from the nicotine, I guess.

Then, when I quit, I wasn't one of those quitters that coughed a lot afterwards.

I've had a bit of a cold and I sort of did that spit/hocker thing the other day and NOTICED NOT ONE SPECK OF BLACK IN MY SPIT. Very Happy

So, that's why this post belongs in the 'JOURNEY TOWARDS WELLNES'.

Nothing like 'healthier hockers'. Embarassed

Jenny,

It was one of the first htings I noticed about quitting! Wonderful, isn't it? I don't know how many peole post about this part, but I will say that it was the beginning of real, true cleanliness for me. By this I mean FEELING CLEAN. THere was something about smoking that made me feel never really clean, no matter how many showers I took, or how much I brushed, etc. Now you will be clean! It is sooo good to feel that way, to be fresh and feel lovely all the time! IN a few more days, you will notice that people stand closer to you. At first I was so surprised by that. They do it unconsciously, I think, because smell is actually one of our strongest senses.

You are going great here! Keep it up!

I agree with marw. It does make you feel clean to get it all out. I too felt dirty no matter how much i washed and brushed. Congrats on your quit.
