Okay, need some help out there guys. My daughter told me I should eat like diabetics do. For theirs is a healthy diet. So I have been searching the internet, and I can't find what I am looking for. I am looking for where it will tell me how many carbs and proteins to eat with each meal. I remember my Aunt years ago having to measure her food and certain combinations she could eat.
Any help out there?
Thanks!

Sorry, don't know much about it. Carbohydrates turn into sugar in the body I think.

What and when you eat have a huge affect on blood sugar. Your doctor might be able to refer you to a nutrionist that can help you understand the balancing of diet and your blood sugar. I can't help much - but you could check out your library. I googled "diabetic diet" and got a ton of information. Good luck! _________________

oh londa, i'm sure theres no chocolate kisses on that diet.
my guess would be that its quite like the south beach diet. they have to watch their carbs and their sugars. _________________

You may want to check out the American Diabetes Association's website. You can find information on diets and the exchange system.
