What do you think? Can I do it?
Busy weekend - heading to Erie to visit with mom, and will also be walking in the MS Walk-a-thon - planning on the five mile course - but may try for the 10 mile trek - depending on how my feet feel! Last year I was still smoking and I was worried about finishing the five miles...We'll see....It would be very cool to walk a mile for every month I've been quit...tomorrow will be eleven months! It still amazes me! I did it!!!!Actually, I'm still doing it! ONE DAY AT A TIME! _________________

You can start training on the treadmill, Mary. The instructor in the gym will be able to tell you how to go about it. _________________

Mary,
You have been successful and have a huge victory in almost a year of being smoke-free.......you're a roll model for so many of us.
GO FOR THE TEN........what a cool thing to do.......I'll be rooting for you.

I'm cheering you on Mary! Go the ten! When ever you get water from someone, think of one of us giving you that drink!
God Bless!

Thanks everyone - I'm going to give my best shot - and see what happens! 10 miles.....why not! I'll have to go back and tell everyone that gave me a pledge and see if they'll double it since I'm walking 10 instead of only 5 miles! I've got my moleskin and I'll take an extra pair of socks to keep my feet happy! I'll let ya know how it goes! _________________

Go for the 10. Think of how rewarding it will be to come across the finish line.
Good luck!
