Hi all,
I am so very, very grateful for what I heard my pulmonary doctor say today. I DO NOT have emphysema like my family doctor said I had in 03. I have asthma though. The pulomary doctor said I need to get rid of my cat and have the house cleaned thourghly on a regular basis. I am limited in housework on count of my back. He says I could have a sinus infection inwhich he gave me anti-biotics and said if I'm not better in a few weeks to come back. It could also be GERD making me feel like I do although he didn't say that. That was on the sheet handed to the office lady.
My oxygen level was 98!
I am really starting to sound like my mom did when she was living, when I say, "That doctor was handsome!"
I can't get over how many sypmtoms I got when thinking I had COPD. All psycho sysmatic I guess or other causes.
I am ready to celebrate tonight somehow after hearing I don't have COPD after thinking I did for over the past 2 years.
Thank you, Jesus for the wonderful news.
I am glad though for the false diagnosis of COPD because if it had not been for that I would have never persued finding support and help in quitting smoking thus coming upon FFS. The rest is history.
Sorry to ramble, I'm just so happy!!!

Barb,
This is wonderful I am sorry that I have not been on lately and have not answered your emails. We have been having a crisis here involving my daughter so I have been rather limited on how long I have been on but know I am thinking of you and will email you as soon as I can _________________
