While in Florida, I took advantage of walking on the beach and the exercise room....it seemed to be appropriate with all the wine that was being bought..
Today, after trimming the yard and weeding we went for a swim...now, I have not been totally emerged in many years...but today, I was swimming for the first time....really swimming with my face in the water..hair wet and I was not sinking...I swam the length of the pool and turned around and did it again... my hubby laughed and said that was the first time he had seen me do that in 36 years. It is the first time I could!!! I always sank like a rock and got out of breath which caused me to fight the water instead of gliding through it.. I have always been able to swim under water but never could stay on top long enough to get to the other side much less the length of the pool....so, this just proves tha hope does float.....it also proves that women over 50 definitely have more fun!

Hi, Deb. Isn't it great? In this wonderful world of freedom we continue to discover reasons to remain non-smokers. I'm grateful every day and am constantly finding more positives in my life. Have a swimming great weekend. _________________

Kay you have got to be a joy to be around!
I too notice things that I can do and had difficulty before. For instance breathing while it is humid. I can do it much easier now that I am not smoking.
Do a lap for me Kay!
God Bless!
